Bored Ape Yacht Club launched in April 2021 for a mint price (pre-sale price) of .08 ETH or $200 at the time. It took four months for the project to blow up and reach an average sale price of $89,602 in August 2021.
If you are curious why Bored Ape Yacht Club blew up, I wrote about it in detail here.
Plenty of celebrities have purchased Bored Apes and there’s a possibility we could see the NFTs make an appearance at the Super Bowl halftime show because Eminem and Snoop Dogg (both are performing at the show) are Bored Ape owners.
More and more eyes are going to be on this project and its eye-popping sales and while rarity ranking tools aren’t the end-all-be-all it’s fun to look at the rarest assets in the most popular NFT collection in the world.

Rarity and market value are ultimately in the eye of the beholder. Just because an asset has a rare trait, doesn’t mean that trait will be popular in the marketplace, but this does help us as a guide.
Bored Ape Yacht Club has had an incredible run and doesn’t seem to be slowing down.
It will be interesting to see if these top 10 rarest Bored Ape Yacht Clubs sell in the future and for how much money.
