This article breaks down the top 10 VeeFriends 2 series sales since the collection launched on April 25th, 2022.
The VeeFriends Series 2 collection launched on April 25th, 2022. It was a little less than a year after the launch of the VeeFriends Series 1 NFT collection in May of 2021.
The VeeFriends Series 2 collection upped the ante with a much larger supply of 55,555 NFTs in the collection but weaved in additional rarity with different poses, scenes, and even a new speculator variation.
Note: we did leave out a sale that looked suspiciously high for a non-rare NFT in the collection.
We looked at data from all the VeeFriends Series 2 NFTs sold on OpenSea so far, and here are the 10 most expensive VeeFriends Series 2 NFTs ever sold:
10 — “Diamond Hands” Hen Emerald #55378–15.5 ETH
9 — Patient Panda Emerald #55469–16.9697 ETH
8 — Flex’n Fox #34988–17 ETH

“Diamond Hands” Hen #40446 features an even rarer JakNFT Glitch scene as it’s only one of three diamond glitches in the entire collection.
It was sold pre-reveal for 1.5 ETH, which was valued at $4,444.76 USD at the time. This is why it’s so important to learn how to check the rarity of your NFT before the artwork reveals on OpenSea, which you can read how to do here.
The NFT later sold for 13 ETH and finally, 18.95 ETH, which was valued at $36,226.34 USD at the time of the sale.

Heart-Trooper #45681 features yet another rare JakNFT Glitch scene, this time it’s the bubble gum scene. Only 4 NFTs in the entire 55,555 collection have this scene.
It was minted and sold for 20 ETH, which was valued at $57,794.40 USD at the time of the sale.

Willful Wizard #20401 is a one-of-three JakNFT Glitch diamond background and was initially sold for 13.65 ETH, and later sold for 21.99 ETH, which was valued at $27,834.72 USD at the time of the sale.
Because ETH has come down in value so much, the initial sale of 13.65 was actually valued higher in USD, at $38,669.50 at the time of the sale than the 21.99 ETH sale.
If you're wondering how to check the USD value of an NFT at the time of the sale, I wrote about how to do it using Etherscan in 3 easy steps here.

Adaptable Alien #13905 was the most expensive VeeFriends Series 2 ever sold at 42 ETH, which was valued at $123,332.58 USD at the time.
The NFT has a one-of-one JakNFT Glitch Emerald scene and was minted by the original seller.
You can shop for the VeeFriends Series 2 NFT collection, which has 54,100 NFTs, on OpenSea by clicking here. Remember to always check links before buying an NFT.
The collection is still so, so, so young at only ~2 months old, but it will be fun to look back and see which of these characters develop in popularity and how this list changes in the future.
The price of ETH has come down significantly as has the entire NFT market, so I expect this list to remain mostly the same for the coming months, but you never know what Gary Vaynerchuk has up his sleeves.
